Pixies
Scheduled internet tests become a history of speed, ping and jitter.
Context
One speed test only describes one moment. Pixies runs Ookla, LibreSpeed or Cloudflare tests on a schedule so changes in a connection can be read over time.
Idea
Keep measurement, history and alerts together. Compare download, upload, ping and jitter, export a date range to CSV or JSON, and send Prometheus metrics to Grafana.

Pixies keeps a connection history with an explicit retention limit.
The Pixies README specifies a 365-day default retention period and automatic pruning of expired results. Its connection history is deliberately bounded rather than stored indefinitely.
The aim is to inspect changes over time. The trade-off is finite history: retention must be configured for the comparison window you need, and results outside it are pruned.
